Refund Policy
1.1 In the case of a cancellation, because you have cancelled the Contract between us within the fourteen-day cooling-off period
we will refund your payment to you as soon as possible. After the fourteen-day you will NOT be entitled to a refund.
1.2 In the case that an item has been designed and fabricated for a bespoke job on behalf of the client, the fourteen-day cooling off period will become void due to the items being ‘non re-saleable’. The design process will have been signed off and approved by the client prior to manufacturer and a copy of all paperwork will be given to the client.
Hire of equipment
Existing damage or defects to hire equipment must be advised to our delivery driver at the point of delivery.
1.1 The client has no right to refund if they have ordered the wrong hire item or if they have taken it but not used it. The only exception is if a ‘special agreement’ has otherwise been agreed upfront.
1.2 If an item becomes faulty whilst on hire , we will endeavor to send a competent person to site to assess the situation. If possible we will bring a replacement item to site and exchange the faulty item rather than attempt to repair it on site.
1.3 If our fitter/engineer goes out to a reportedly faulty item of plant to find that ‘operator error’ is the reason for the item not working then we reserve the right to charge for our time and expenses whilst rectifying the issue. In the events the following rates will apply;-
Travel time & site time – £40.00 per hour
Mileage – 40p per mile
Administration Fee
£150 administration fee will be subtracted from the deposit if a booking is cancelled.
